An extensive domestic and worldwide traveler, intense reader and lover of all things baseball and history, Steven retired in 2017, moving abroad and earning an M.A. in Modern History from King's College London. During his retirement, he spent two well-timed seasons as a Seattle Mariners usher. He has appeared as a guest host on The Thomas Jefferson Hour, spoken at the fundraising banquet for the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, ND, and has contributed entries to blackpast.org. He is the proud father of three principled, adult daughters.
